VISTAS LIFELONG LEARNING, INC. has been providing thought-provoking lectures and seminars on a wide variety of topics to the Santa Barbara community for more than twenty years. Many of our courses are created and presented by our own members, while others feature guest speakers. Our annual calendar also includes social events designed to connect our members, promote discussion, and nourish our curiosity.

Our courses are geared toward intellectually curious adults who like to think creatively, want to seek knowledge for its own sake, and enjoy meeting like-minded people. We meet during daytime hours in various Santa Barbara-area locations.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES

Because of the pandemic, Vistas suspended all in-person classes and began presenting its programs via Zoom in the spring of 2020. In the fall of 2021, we resumed in-person courses and other events, continuing to present only a small number of courses via Zoom. To protect the health and safety of our attendees, as well as their entire families, we limit attendance at all in-person Vistas events to those who are fully vaccinated and boosted and willing to submit proof of their vaccination status. We also comply with local public health directives and recommendations, including mask mandates, when applicable.
