As a nonprofit 501 (c)(3) organization, VISTAS depends on memberships, on course fees, and, increasingly, on donations. Thanks to the combined efforts of our Curriculum Committee, our Presenters, our Hospitality team, and all the other dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and talents, we are able to offer the Santa Barbara community an exceptional program of adult education at a minimal cost.

How does Vistas use your donations?

Your donation enables VISTAS to cover escalating costs such as insurance, venue rentals, printing, and class materials, keeping our membership and class costs low and affordable.

With your tax-deductible donation to Vistas, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing you are contributing to the long-term financial health of this extraordinary organization. Vistas is a completely self-sustaining, 501(c)(3) corporation. You will receive a thank-you note with your donation amount noted for use when filing your taxes.

Charlie Schneider Outreach Scholarship Fund

Vistas is proud to announce the creation of the Charlie Schneider Outreach Scholarship. Charlie has often voiced his view that Vistas classes are a wonderful community resource that should be available to everybody, regardless of their financial means. Accordingly, Vistas has created a permanent fund which will go directly to those who would like to take Vistas courses but find the membership and/or enrollment fees problematic. Your donations will help to make this possible.

With your tax-deductible donation to the Charlie Schneider Outreach Scholarship program, you’ll be helping others to become members and enjoy more of our outstanding programs.
